The Ultimate Tribute to a Rock Legacy

Hailing from diverse musical landscapes, BOHEMIAN QUEEN comprises a roster of seasoned musicians who’ve come together to honor the timeless magic of Queen. Known as ‘The World’s Most Passionate Queen Tribute’, their shows are a testament to the indomitable spirit of rock-n-roll, resonating with both loyal Queen aficionados and new fans alike.

Paulie Z was bred in Brooklyn’s vibrant music scene. From early gigs with local bands like Legend and Splivey Cool to his breakout with power trio ZO2, co-founded with his brother David Z, Paulie tasted success early on. This success reached new heights with tours alongside KISS and Poison, three albums, four singles, and their own TV series, Z Rock. Paulie’s solo pursuits took him to LA, where he showcased his songwriting prowess and took the helm at the famed Whisky A Go Go’s Ultimate Jam Night. By 2017, Paulie had stepped into the shoes of the lead singer for the legendary glam band Sweet, a role he continued till 2020. Today, while he continues to serenade audiences as Freddie Mercury in BOHEMIAN QUEEN, he also ventures into other tributes like Zep-LA and Seasons of Cornell.

Steve Zukowsky first made waves in the LA scene with ‘Sheer Heart Attack’, one of the initial U.S. tributes to QUEEN. Over the years, Steve’s guitar expertise has found him in bands like Led Zepagain, a gig that earned him admiration from none other than Jimmy Page. His vast repertoire includes performances with symphonic orchestras with Windborne Music and an almost-role in QUEEN drummer Roger Taylor’s official tribute band. Steve’s heart, however, has always resonated with the notes of QUEEN, a passion that has driven him since the vinyl days of ‘Killer Queen’.

Aaron Samson traces his musical origins to the chilly climes of British Columbia, Canada. A chance exposure to music production by David Foster in Southern California and his tryst with guitarist Jeff Duncan led to the foundation of rock band ODIN. With hits like ‘Shining Love’ and a prominent presence in the glam-metal scene, Aaron stamped his mark on the rock landscape. He has also collaborated with stalwarts like Steven Adler and George Lynch. Now, as the bassist for BOHEMIAN QUEEN, Aaron rediscovers his love for Queen’s timeless classics.

Glenn Jost of Buffalo, NY, carries a legacy of performing from the age of 15, cutting across various genres and platforms. From jazz festivals to national tours with David Victor of Boston, Glenn’s drumming chronicles are varied and rich. His association with QUEEN’s music, however, dates back to his formative years, a connection that continues to inspire his performances.

Victor Bender brings a touch of South American flair to the group. Born in Colombia, his early years in music were spent in the vibrant Colombian nightclub scene, while by day he absorbed the art of music composition and production at Fuentes Records. In Los Angeles, he carved a niche in post-production, composing for brands like Coca-Cola and Samsung. Victor’s deep-rooted love for QUEEN began as he tried to emulate Freddie Mercury’s piano artistry, a fascination that grew with albums like ‘A Night at the Opera’. His musical journey has seen collaborations with the likes of Steve Zukowsky and Glenn Jost and productions for bands like Bostyx and Platinum Rockstars.

Together, these five artists bring the magic of QUEEN to life. BOHEMIAN QUEEN isn’t just a tribute; it’s a full-throttle rock-n-roll concert experience, blending iconic hits with theatrical ‘Freddie’ costume transformations, ensuring audiences are swept off their feet, time and time again.
