Southern Indiana-based Sounds of Summer performs a Beach Boys tribute show featuring more than 30 hits and the story of the band’s rise to fame. The four-member group has performed since 2015 and appeared on AXS TV’s World’s Greatest Tribute Bands in 2016.
Sounds of Summer is a Southern Indiana tribute show performing over 30 of The Beach Boys’ greatest hits, including Surfin’ USA, Good Vibrations, California Girls, Kokomo, and Wouldn’t It Be Nice. Four musicians who have been friends since grade school recreate the band’s harmonies and spirit with an authentic look and sound. Performing since 2015, Sounds of Summer also appeared on AXS TV’s World’s Greatest Tribute Bands in September 2016 for a live, hour-long special. The show combines sing-along classics with the story of The Beach Boys’ rise to fame and brings the music of the 1960s to the stage.
