The format was designed for fans who want more than a single tribute set, with material spanning the old and the new, from Kill ’Em All and Ride the Lightning to Master of Puppets,...And Justice for All, The Black Album, and 72 Seasons.

Each event featured a different combination of songs with no repeats, mixing well-known staples with deeper cuts. The weekend closed with a jam finale featuring all three bands together, in a format described as reminiscent of the Big 4 tour.
