Sinatra Big Band

Sinatra Big Band is a Los Angeles Frank Sinatra tribute led by Matt Mauser with arranger and conductor Pete Jacobs. The show centers on the Sinatra-with-big-band sound, drawing from the era of the Count Basie Orchestra at the Sands.

Matt Mauser’s Frank Sinatra tribute grew from his work as lead singer of Southern California rock band The Tijuana Dogs, where weddings, corporate parties, and other events led him toward Sinatra’s music. Matt and producer, arranger, and conductor Pete Jacobs formed the tribute band in 2011, charting music, recording vocals, and rehearsing with the big band. The collaboration captures Sinatra’s sound during his performances with The Count Basie Orchestra at The Sands in Las Vegas. Matt brings a distinctive vocal style, while Pete’s arranging and conducting shape the band’s presentation for events seeking a sophisticated style of music.
