Elite Elvis features James Kruk and The Big Boss Men in a live Elvis Presley tribute centered on rock and roll, humor, charisma, and a strong Elvis voice and look. Kruk has played Elvis for Steve Martin's Broadway tour of Picasso at The Lapin Agile and recorded as Elvis for Pawn Shop Chronicles.
Elite Elvis is led by James Kruk with his band The Big Boss Men, delivering an Elvis Presley tribute built around live rock and roll, a strong Elvis voice and look, and a show that leans into humor, charisma, and crowd response.
Kruk first played Elvis for comedian Steve Martin on the Broadway tour of Picasso at The Lapin Agile. He also performed the role of Elvis alongside Academy Award winner Patricia Arquette in the live read of Quentin Tarantino's True Romance, sponsored by LACMA and Film Independent and directed by Jason Reitman.
His Elvis vocals have also been used on screen. Kruk recorded two songs as Elvis for the 2013 film Pawn Shop Chronicles, starring Brendan Fraser, Elijah Wood, Norman Reedus, and Paul Walker. Director Wayne Kramer said Kruk saved the film with his vocals.
Onstage, the show combines Kruk's Elvis performance with the live backing of The Big Boss Men. The set is described as vibrant, alive rock and roll, with the band having headlined many major casinos and summer concert series.
