Britishmania is a Beatles tribute band that has performed at hundreds of theaters, clubs, festivals, and corporate parties, as well as the Cavern Club in Liverpool.
The show follows the Beatles’ career from the early 1960s onward. It can feature multimedia video beginning in that period, including TV commercials from the exact time and place tied to where the Beatles were in their career.
The production can include up to five costume eras. It starts with the Liverpool and Hamburg years, then moves into the Ed Sullivan Show period and early Beatlemania in America, with songs including I Wanna Hold Your Hand, She Loves You, and A Hard Day’s Night. It then covers the Shea Stadium era with Help!, Drive My Car, and Day Tripper.
After a brief intermission, the second half moves into the Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour era in 1967, including Sgt. Pepper, With a Little Help, and A Day in the Life. The show closes with the Abbey Road, Let It Be, and White Album era, featuring Come Together, Something, and Hey Jude.
Britishmania is also known to perform many Beatles B-sides that dedicated fans will recognize.
