After 8 years performing together, the band has grown into a headlining act for festivals, resorts, casinos, and live music venues. The group is led by frontman Brandon Depaul, founder of the former DMB tribute Tripping Billies.

Big Eyed Phish features a full-time lead guitar player and keyboard player, which the band says sets it apart from other DMB tributes. That lineup allows them to cover the full spectrum of the Dave Matthews Band catalog across the lineup changes seen in DMB over the years.
