What an absolute HONOR to be asked to join Cheap Trick on stage to sing ‘Surrender’ to a SOLD OUT
crowd of 10,000 people, last night in Houston! Cheap trick caught our set, and we were able to chat a bit
prior to their performance. Rick Nielsen thought they had an AC/DC track playing and then he realized it
was our band. We spoke about our singer’s audition for AC/DC in 2016. Robin Zander said he was
asked to audition, as well, but turned down the offer in respect of his Florida neighbor Brian Johnson, and
because he was pretty busy with his own band! Rick told us that he took Bon Scott out for his very first
taco!
To Robin, Rick, Tom, Daxx, & Robin Jr., Thank you for inviting us to watch the entire show on the stage
and being musical heroes that we will always look up to. Your work ethic & kindness are inspirational!
