Bio
Total Distortion is a Social Distortion tribute band based in San Diego, California. The band was formed to pay homage to Social Distortion, one of America’s first 1970s punk rock bands.
Started by Don Vercelli, Total Distortion is built around a vocal sound noted for its similarity to Social D front man Mike Ness. Vercelli is backed by Chris Cunningham, Shawn Barry, and Angel Elias.
Total Distortion has taken that tribute to stages in California, Arizona, Nevada, and Texas, giving buyers a clear Social Distortion-focused act with an established band lineup and out-of-state performance history.
