Bio

Too Hype Crew is a Chicago cover band focused on classic hip hop and R&B from the 80s, 90s, and early 2000s. The group is positioned for buyers who need broad age and cross-demographic appeal, especially for festivals and corporate events.

The act is a seven-piece, all-live band, accompanied by choreographed Fly Girls. Their set centers on well-known hip hop party songs that audiences already know and love, delivered in a live-band format people do not often get to see. The show is built to be artistic and respectful to the music while still feeling interactive, loose, and fun, with impromptu comedy woven into the performance.

For festival and corporate dates, the show is family friendly. Language, song selection, costumes, and onstage antics are tailored to the event, which gives buyers a clearer fit for mixed audiences and brand-conscious settings.

Too Hype Crew performs around the country and has opened for Nelly, Flo Rida, RUN DMC, Digital Underground, Vanilla Ice, Tone Loc, Big Sean, Naughty by Nature, Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock, Lil Jon, Jason Derulo, and Biz Markie. Corporate clients include Google, Microsoft, Anheuser-Busch, GrubHub, Wilson Dow, Miller-Coors, and TransUnion.
