Bio

The Who Generation is a Los Angeles tribute band dedicated to the music of The Who, built to recreate the band’s sound and visual feel onstage. The group was featured on AXS-TV’s The World’s Greatest Tribute Bands, and two members have also performed with, and for, Roger Daltrey.

The lineup features Larry Hampton as Pete Townshend, Rolly DeVore as Keith Moon, Stephen Shareaux as Roger Daltrey, and Brian Paulson as John Entwistle.

Their show centers on the catalog that made The Who one of British rock’s defining bands, including songs such as My Generation, I Can’t Explain, I Can See For Miles, Won’t Get Fooled Again, Baba O’ Riley, Behind Blue Eyes, Pinball Wizard, See Me, Feel Me/Listening To You, Join Together, The Seeker, Love Reign O’er Me, Squeeze Box, Who Are You, Eminence Front, and You Better, You Bet.

The source material spans 27 Top Forty singles, 17 Top Ten albums, 18 Gold albums, 12 Platinum albums, and 5 Multi-Platinum album awards in the United States alone, along with rock operas including Tommy and Quadrophenia.

The band has drawn public praise tied directly to its connection with the material, including comments from Katie Daryl of AXS-TV, producer and engineer Michael Vail Blum, Kevin Baldes of Lit, and Roger Daltrey, who said, Great drums! Really, really tight.
