The Temptations Revue

The Temptations Revue is a tribute performance led by Nate Evans. Evans was specially selected by original Temptations lead singers Eddie Kendricks, David Ruffin, and Dennis Edwards to join the group. Following the passing of these original members, he now leads the show. Evans was also the former lead singer of Rock-n-Roll Hall of Fame inductees The Impressions. This production is dedicated to the late Temptations and built around songs from the catalog of one of Motown’s most recognized acts. The group performs the moves and arrangements as a replica of the original Temptations show. The set draws from well-known Temptations hits including The Way You Do The Things You Do, My Girl, I Wish It Would Rain, Since I Lost My Baby, You're My Everything, I'm Gonna Make You Love Me, Get Ready, Ain't Too Proud To Beg, (I Know) I'm Losing You, Cloud Nine, Psychedelic Shack, Runaway Child, Running Wild, Ball Of Confusion, I Can't Get Next To You, Masterpiece, and Just My Imagination. The original Temptations built their reputation on harmonies, choreography, and a long run of pop and funk hits across the 1960s and 1970s. This revue centers on that songbook and performance style, from early favorites like My Girl and Get Ready to later material such as Cloud Nine and Ball of Confusion.
