Bio
The Highwayman Show is an outlaw country tribute centered on the songs of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, and Kris Kristofferson.
Fronted by Tony Suraci as The Highwayman, the show features a vocalist covering all four signature voices, backed by a 10-piece band. Together they draw from the mid-1970s outlaw country era and keep the set focused on well-known material.
The song list includes crowd-recognized staples such as Me and Bobby McGee, On The Road Again, Good Ole Boys, and Folsom Prison Blues, along with Cline, Joplin, and Carter duets and the trumpet parts from Ring Of Fire. The result is a full-band tribute built around familiar songs and a steady, high-energy pace.
