Bio
The Furs are a California-based tribute band focused on the music of The Psychedelic Furs. The band was assembled from members of tribute bands in California and centers on a set built around songs including Love My Way, Pretty In Pink, The Ghost In You, Heartbreak Beat, and President Gas.
Fronting the band is Andy Singer, who performs the look and sound of Richard Butler. He has spent many years as a touring singer and was a signed artist with Atlantic Records.
The lineup features Andy Singer on vocals, Dave Casad on synth and guitar, Jesse Michel on guitar, Jesse Zamudio on bass and guitar, and Max Shuldberg on drums. Together, the five musicians recreate the distinctive sound associated with The Psychedelic Furs and their 80s catalog.
