Bio
Mr. Dynamite is a James Brown tribute band built around the songs, movement, and live feel associated with one of soul and funk’s defining artists.
The show combines a live band with precision choreography, showmanship, and a strong focus on the J.B. experience. The set draws from well-known James Brown songs including I Feel Good, Sex Machine, Get Up Offa That Thing, Get on the Good Foot, and Papa’s Got A Brand New Bag, along with more from the catalog.
Frontman David Cherry leads the act with a tribute centered on James Brown’s voice, personality, look, and signature dance moves. He is a professional entertainer with hundreds of performances to his credit.
For buyers looking for a clear-format tribute act, Mr. Dynamite delivers a James Brown-focused show with recognizable material and a performance style shaped around the energy and atmosphere of a live concert by The Godfather of Soul.
