Born and raised in Leeds, Jason is a singer, songwriter and guitarist who has performed since his school days. He paid his musical dues in the 1980s in the same working men’s clubs and pubs where Joe Cocker sang in the 1960s. His career includes opening for Joe Cocker, Neil Young, Tears For Fears, The Cranberries, John Martyn, Ben Folds Five, Kenny Loggins, David Gray and Christie Moore. Jason has also written and recorded music for television and motion pictures, created a show of songs from William Shakespeare’s plays, and co-written the score for a play with Rita Rudner. His tribute sounds just like Joe Cocker.
