Lovedrive is a Southern California Scorpions tribute band formed in 2012 and named after the band’s 1979 album Lovedrive. The set centers on material from the late 70s through the 2000s, covering well-known radio hits, arena favorites, and songs that have not been played live in many years. Their repertoire includes songs from the late 70s such as In Trance and Lovedrive, 80s staples including Rock You Like a Hurricane, The Zoo, Blackout, No One Like You, and Still Loving You, 90s hits including Wind of Change and Send Me an Angel, and 2000s tracks such as 321 and Rock and Roll Band. Lovedrive has shared the stage with Scorpions drummer James Kottak at the Whisky A-Go-Go in West Hollywood, California, performing No One Like You, Big City Nights, and Coming Home. Kottak also dubbed the band the Best of the Best in the West. Built as a tribute to the Scorpions, Lovedrive focuses on the look, sound, and energy associated with a live Scorpions concert, giving buyers a clear, song-driven act with recognizable material across multiple eras of the catalog.
