Formed in 2022, Eminescence is an Evanescence tribute based in Sound Beach, New York, and the only Evanescence tribute on Long Island. The band is fronted by Emi Pellegrino on vocals and piano. Pellegrino was voted Best Singer on Long Island in 2020 after being nominated three years in a row. She is also a certified voice teacher and has a YouTube following of more than 52,000 subscribers. The lineup includes guitarist Johnny Inferno, bassist Tom Schinkel of The Reptiles, and drummer Nick Bavaro. Together, they bring years of live experience and a set built around music that connected with a wide audience in the 2000s. Evanescence broke through with songs including the Grammy award-winning Bring Me To Life and the certified platinum Call Me When You're Sober.
