Bio
Amarillo by Morning is a George Strait tribute band based in Las Vegas, Nevada, built around the songs that made Strait a country music staple across decades. The show centers on familiar hits and fan favorites, giving buyers a clear tribute format that is easy to place for country audiences.
Fronting the band is Rowdy McCarran, a Grammy-nominated country vocalist whose performance anchors the show. His role is central to the act’s draw, bringing George Strait’s material to the stage with a style aimed at fans who want the sound, feel, and pacing of a Strait concert experience.
The set pulls from well-known songs including Check Yes or No, The Chair, Ocean Front Property, Unwound, Fool Hearted Memory, Give It Away, and Heartland, along with deeper catalog selections such as You Look So Good in Love and Nobody in His Right Mind Would’ve Left Her. That range lets the act cover both major crowd-recognition moments and songs longtime Strait listeners expect to hear.
Amarillo by Morning is designed for audiences that connect with the heart, storytelling, and spirit associated with George Strait’s catalog. For buyers, it offers a straightforward tribute concept with recognizable material, a dedicated frontman, and a set list built around one of country music’s most established songbooks.
