This 10-piece ensemble doesn’t just play music; they teleport you straight to the heart of disco’s golden age. With Las Vegas-inspired costumes, vibrant personas, and funk-a-licious grooves, they’re a thrilling spectacle that seems to come not just from another land but another time when disco was king!

Founded in 1996, at the heart of the Boogie Wonder Band are bassist and founder Boogie Cindy and lead vocalist Apollo Johnson. They’re joined by a stellar ensemble including percussionist Eddie Toussaint, trumpeter Benny “chopshop” Jamison, drummer Luke Andersen, guitarist Jack Wrangler, saxophonist Duke Lebeau, vocalists Emma Marlowe and Stardust, and keyboardist Robby Falcone.

Their music has echoed through venues from Mumbai’s Neighbourhood Winter Festival to the Disco Symphony shows with the Cape Cod Symphony. Not to forget their unforgettable stint as the only Canadian band on the Ultimate Disco Cruises. Whether it’s Mardi Gras in New Orleans or Festival Montagne & Musique in France, the Boogie Wonder Band raises the disco bar wherever they go.

Their commitment to the disco groove hasn’t gone unnoticed. Over the years, they’ve shared the stage with industry titans like Kool & The Gang, Village People, Gloria Gaynor, and the Pointer Sisters, just to name a few.

After more than 3000 shows around the world the Boogie Wonder Band has become the most celebrated DISCO band of our generation. They have played in 100s of cities throughout the US as well as Canada, Bahamas, Bermuda, Cuba, China, Macao, Italy, Ecador, Hawaii, Monaco, France, Japan, India. Constantly rebooked, the perfect show for casinos, theatres, festivals and venues like the famous Cutting Room in New York City, Los Angeles iconic Whisky a Gogo and Brooklyn Bowl in Las Vegas. With recent stops in Miami Beach at the LIV Nightclub for VIP event with Shaquille O’Neal, Disco Symphonic show with the Columbus Symphony, Carnivale du Vin in New Orleans for Emeril Lagasse Foundation, Festival Montagne & Musique in France, Ontario 54 in California, The Big E in Springfield Mass and of course as the sole Canadian band on the unforgettable Ultimate Disco Cruise and Rock & Romance Cruise, they continue to spread the word and raise the bar!
