Country Nation stands out as the beacon of country music in Southern California. With an electrifying stage presence, they promise evenings that could easily make you feel like you’re at the CMAs. The uniqueness lies in their interactive performances, making audiences an integral part of the show. Their setlist not only pays homage to contemporary country icons like Maren Morris, Luke Combs, and Blake Shelton, but also bows respectfully to the classics such as George Strait and Patsy Cline.
If you’re aiming for an event bursting with energy, dancing, and unforgettable memories, COUNTRY NATION is your answer! They don’t just play music; they bring country to life!
The Origin Story
Formed in 2011, Burbank, CA, Country Nation’s inception might come as a surprise to many. Considering Burbank’s association with celebrities like Ron Howard and Tim Burton, forming a country band might seem out of place. However, the founding members had a clear vision. They recognized the emerging popularity of modern country artists like Lady A and Rascal Flatts. While most local bands were engrossed in classic country-western, CN took the bold step to blend the new with the old. A standout feature was the inclusion of both male and female lead vocals. This allowed them to bring forth the diverse harmonies intrinsic to modern country.
Meet the Stars: Tommy “Buck” George and Stacey Anne
Tommy and Stacey Anne aren’t just singers; they are entertainers. Both have spearheaded various tribute bands, but their collaboration in CN is nothing short of magical. Their dynamic stage presence is infectious. Whether it’s Stacey Anne guiding the audience in a line dance or Tommy twirling the ladies and encouraging a sing-along, they ensure a lively show every time.
The Musical Maestros
Country Nation is graced by some of the finest musicians Southern California boasts of. Soloists like Adam Jensen, with his lightning-fast guitar skills, and Donn Goldstick, whose fiddle-playing prowess spans genres from philharmonic to bluegrass, are vital to the CN sound. Donn’s rendition of “Devil Went Down to Georgia” is always a show-stopper.
The rhythm and melody section is held tight by KK Fair’s drums, Eric Greenberg’s bass, and Thom Salisbury’s keys and banjo. With such a lineup, there’s no doubt that Country Nation is unparalleled when it comes to rocking the country!
